What we collect

When you send a project brief, we collect the details you provide: your name, email, optional phone, business, website, service interests, budget, timeline and project description. We may also store bounded campaign attribution (UTM fields and the referring website’s origin) to understand how enquiries reached us.

Why we use it

We use your brief to assess fit, respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and manage follow-up. Contact consent is for this enquiry, not a marketing mailing list. We do not sell lead records or submit your brief to an AI generation service.

Storage and service providers

The website and enquiry database use Cloudflare. Turnstile helps protect the form from abuse and processes technical information for that purpose. The private owner workspace uses GitHub sign-in to verify the approved owner’s public account identity; it does not request private repository access. Enquiry records remain in Cloudflare and are not sent to GitHub or publicly listed. WhatsApp is a separate service and its privacy terms apply if you choose that route.

Retention and your choices

We review inactive enquiries for deletion after 12 months, unless needed for an ongoing engagement, legal obligations or an agreed follow-up. This is an owner-operated review, not an automatic deletion guarantee. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting Websauce through WhatsApp. We may ask you to verify that the request concerns your own data.

Local preferences

Your motion preference is stored in this browser. A session marker avoids replaying the opening on every visit within the same tab session. Form input stays in page memory while you retry; it is not saved in browser storage. No advertising pixels or marketing cookies are included by this site.

Owner sign-in uses essential, secure cookies to complete authentication and maintain an eight-hour studio session. The session identifier is stored only as a hash in our database and is revoked when the owner signs out. Visitors sending a brief do not need a GitHub account.

Keep sensitive material out of the brief

Please do not send passwords, financial account details, identity documents or confidential customer data. We can agree a suitable exchange method after the first conversation.
